Europe1: ISIS could accumulate € 3 billion since 2015

The Islamic State terrorist organization prohibited in the Russian Federation could accumulate about three billion euros since 2015. It is reported by Europe1 with reference to its sources.

According to the publication, for a long time ISIS controlled the territory rich in oil in Iraq and Syria, which brought about $ 100 million a year. Also there were approximately 40% of grain in Iraq and 80% cotton in Syria.

About € 1.5 billion were collected in three years due to exerts from the population under the control of the Islamic State, as well as from taxes for all types of transactions and fines.

Le Monde writes that ISIS has invested money in a legal business, in particular, in fish farms in Iraq.
