On April 27, 2018, the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow arrested neo-Nazi Alexei Lyovkin in absentia, the soloist of the neo-Nazi musical group M8L8TH (Hitler’s Hammer) (the letters “o” are replaced by two eights, since 88 is a coded neo-Nazi greeting “Heil Hitler” from - due to the fact that the letter "H" is the eighth in the Latin alphabet; "H" at the end of the group name symbolizes the name of Hitler, written in Latin).
Levkin is a native of Tver and is known for his neo-Nazi statements, such as: “ M8L8TKH is the National Socialist Black Metal Division, sweeping away the bastions of the Jewish order in its path, incinerating faith in the Jewish gods ...” , “ Adolf Hitler is the Great Leader who entered into an unequal fight for our White World. This is the Great Symbol of Our Struggle ."
He is accused of creating an extremist community (Article 282.1 of the Criminal Code) and inciting ethnic hatred (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code). Details, unfortunately, were not reported.
Levkin was also an associate of the neo-Nazi Roman Zheleznov and one of the founders of the ultra-right Wotanjugend community. In 2014, Levkin emigrated to Ukraine, where he became one of the founders of the far-right emigrant organization Russian Center and joined the Right Sector.
