On May 10, 2018, in Sevastopol, police and FSB officers suspected of collaborating with Hizb ut-Tahrir detained two Crimean Tatars Ernes convicted in September 2016 and Enver Seitosmanov, cousins of Nuri Primov .
The security forces searched their house and their mother's house in village of Sadovoe, after which the men were taken to the FSB department.
Later it became known that a criminal case was initiated against one of the brothers. 2 tbsp. 205.5 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of a terrorist organization).
We believe that accusing members of Hizb ut-Tahrir of promoting terrorism only on the basis of party activities (holding meetings, reading literature, etc.) and persecuting them under anti-terrorist articles is unlawful.
