
Russian woman Julia Samoilova did not go to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest-2018 contest. This is reported by Channel One.
Thus, Russia for the first time since 2004 did not go to the Eurovision final.
Samoilova performed in the second semifinals of the competition under the sixth number with the song "I Won" T Break. However, the votes of the audience and the professional jury were not enough to enter the finals.
The singer was supposed to perform at Eurovision back in 2017 in Kyiv, but the Security Service of Ukraine forbade the artist entry into the country, since Samoilova previously performed in Crimea.
