The Orel administration demands to deprive the community of Evangelical Christians of the Resurrection Church of part of the land plot on Zheleznodorozhnaya Street and call on it to dismantle part of the prayer house located on this site. Orel Prosecutor's Office demands to suspend the operation of the building until the dispute is resolved.
On May 28, 2018, it became known that the administration of Orel appealed to the court demanding to deprive the community of evangelical Christian Church "Resurrection" part of the land on the street Zheleznodorozhnaya and urge her to dismantle part of the prayer house located on this site. The lawsuit stated that the religious the organization owns a land plot at Zheleznodorozhnaya, 18 (area 1,228 sq m), and the other part - 267.6 sq m - is occupied without permission, and 8.4 sq m of self-capture occupied by the building.
At the same time to the court Zheleznodorozhny the district court appealed to the prosecutor's office, which demands to suspend operation of the prayer house until "the owner will submit documents on putting the building into operation”, i.e. Not legalize the building.
The prayer house was built in 1999 on land purchased by Pavel Abashin, the head of the community.
