Administrative arrest for a video on a social network

In the Krasnodar Territory, a 25-year-old resident of the Dinsky district was arrested for 10 days for a video posted on a social network.

In May 2018, the Dinsky District Court ruled in an administrative case under Art. 20.29 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list of extremist materials).

According to the materials of the case, a 25-year-old local resident posted a video in free access on his page in one of the social networks, which was recognized by a court decision as extremist and included in the federal list of extremist materials.

The local resident received 10 days of administrative arrest.
