Bryansk: the court extended the arrest of the accused of participating in the Right Sector

In Bryansk, the court extended until September 15 the arrest of Denis Bakholdin, accused of participating in the Right Sector.
On August 20, 2018, it became known that the Sovetsky District Court of Bryansk, at the request of the Investigative Committee, extended until September 15 the arrest of 37-year-old Denis Bakholdin, accused of participating in the Right Sector.

Recall that on April 20, 2018, the Nagatinsky District Court of Moscow, due to violations in the indictment, transferred Bakholdin's case back to the prosecutor's office. After further investigation, on July 23, in an updated version, the same charge was brought against him - under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code (participation in the activities of an extremist organization). On June 6, the Moscow City Court dismissed the prosecution's complaint filed by the Bryansk prosecutor's office against the court's decision to return the case for additional investigation.

In the first half of the 2010s, Denis Bakholdin participated in monthly rallies in support of political prisoners as part of Strategy-6 and in anti-war rallies against the policies of the Russian authorities. At the end of 2014 he moved to Ukraine. Bakholdin was detained by the police in March 2017 at the border of the Bryansk region. According to investigators, having left for Ukraine, Bakholdin joined the Right Sector volunteer corps (an organization recognized as extremist in Russia) and from July 4 to July 12, 2015, he participated in hostilities.

Bakholdin himself refuses to give any evidence. Initially, he was kept in the Bryansk SIZO-1, then he was transferred to Moscow, to Matrosskaya Tishina, and then returned to Bryansk. Sources
