
The artist, founder of the first Russian festival of comics "Commission" Pavel Sukhikh, known under the pseudonym Hihus, died at the age of 50 from cancer. This was reported by his friends Konstantin Komardin and Sergey Kuznetsov.
Hikhus is the leader of the comixists' movement “People of Dead Fish”, the ideologist of the Respect project. The first comic book of Hihus “Red shoes” is the interpretation of the same fairy tale Hans Christian Andersen. This work was translated into four languages. In 2009, Sukhikh was let in a book with copyright illustrations called “Cosmonevo”. He created the cartoons “Man in the Pince -Ne” from the cycle “The Stories of Anton Chekhov”, “How I lost 21 grams” from the almanac “Tales of the 21st Century”, “Planet Humra”.
