The Ministry of Justice requires that the personal data of the head of a religious group be included in the notification of its creation

On July 20, 2018, the Order of the Ministry of Justice “On Amendments to the Form of Notification of the Beginning of the Activities of a Religious Group, Approved by the Order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation” comes into force. From now on, the notification of the creation of a religious group must contain the personal data of its creator and information about other members.

IN mid-July 2018 it became known that on July 20, 2018 the order of the Ministry of Justice "On amendments to the form of notification of the commencement of activities religious group, approved by order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation". From now on, the notice of the establishment of a religious group must be indicated the personal data of its creator, as well as " information about the basics of religion, about the places of worship, other religious rites and ceremonies, leader, representative, citizens, belonging to a religious group ."
