Priest Bogdan Vasilyuk visited Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov in a penal colony No. 8 in Labytnangi. This was reported on the FSIN website in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

Vasilyuk invited Sentsov to talk alone and confess, but Sentsov said that he did not need the help of a clergyman.

Recall that the Ukrainian director Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in the colony by the Russian court. According to investigators, he participated in the preparation of explosions with the Eternal Flame memorial and the monument to Lenin in Simferopol in 2014. Sentsov has been holding a hunger strike from May 14. The main requirement for its termination, he called the liberation of all Ukrainian political prisoners held in Russia.
