Skinhead from Russia detained in Spain

In Granada, the police detained a 21-year-old young man who is wanted in Russia as the leader of a skinhead gang.

In August 2018, in Spain, in the city of Granada, the police detained a 21-year-old native of the city of Engels, Saratov Region. He is under an international extradition order to the Russian authorities.

According to media reports, in Russia the detainee is suspected of vandalism, burglaries motivated by ethnic hatred, robberies and arson of enterprises.

It is also reported that the skinhead asked for political asylum in Spain, but was refused. Now the case of the young man will be transferred to the National Court of Spain.
