Imported vaccines from influenza became inaccessible in Russia

The imported flu vaccines were not available in Russia. This was told to Vedomosti in private medical companies, where the correspondents of the publication turned as customers.

In the clinics “Mother and Child”, “Be healthy”, “Fort” and “Seagull” are offered only by domestic vaccines “Great Plus” and “Ultrix”. Dr. Pilipchuk, general director of the network of clinics “Doctor Near”, said that suppliers have no import vaccines. In the Medical Center, Medsi, in addition to the “fluper plus”, is available to Vaxigripp, which is produced by the French company Sanofi, but there is no Dutch Inflyuvak.

Tatyana Tarasenko, the main nurse of the Alpha Center for Health clinics, said that in 2018, Inflyuvak could not be imported into Russia due to the full load of production in the Netherlands. Previously, this vaccine was the most popular among customers. Tarasenko also said that Sanofi, which produces Vaxigripp, was unable to satisfy additional demand that arose due to the lack of “Inflyuvak”.

There were no import vaccines in pharmacy networks. Top managers of the pharmacy network, clinic and vaccine manufacturer suggest that the state in this way popularizes domestic vaccines.
