Zyuganov asked the head of the UK personally to control the investigation of falsifications in the elections in Primorye

The Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov asked the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin to personally control the investigation of falsifications during the second round of the elections of the Governor of the Primorsky Territory. It is reported by Interfax.

Zyuganov sent a letter to the head of the UK, in which he asked "taking into account the great public resonance to take control of decisions (...) according to information about violations of electoral legislation in the Primorsky Territory."

According to Zyuganov, the party representatives filed applications for the initiation of criminal cases in the UK units in the Primorsky Territory, however, they did not take “any specific actions”, “while immediate measures are required to fix the traces of offenses and withdraw the relevant documentation.”

As the head of the Communist Party wrote, the nature and scale of violations in the September 16 elections in Primorye allow us to talk about the presence of signs of a crime in the activities of individual heads of regional administrations and heads of election commissions. “The observers recorded facts that leave no doubt that the named officials took targeted actions in order to distort the results of the popular will in favor of one of the candidates,” the letter said.
