Another protest action took place in St. Petersburg against the transfer of the diocese of St. Isaac's Cathedral, timed to coincide with the day of the consecration of the chapel of St. Catherine.
On December 2, 2018, another action was held in St. Petersburg
protest against the transfer of the diocese of St. Isaac's Cathedral.
The event took participation of 50 people. The participants of the action visited the museum-monument and started collecting signatures “against the transfer of the chapel of St. Catherine."
Promotion dedicated to the day of the consecration of the Catherine's chapel. Consecration of the diocese intends spend December 7, the day of St. Catherine.
Recall that the inhabitants of St. Petersburg are not once opposed the transfer of St. Isaac's Cathedral to the Church, hoping to save its status as a museum-monument. The final decision of the authorities on this issue is still unknown.
