The investigation refused to open a case against the leader of the movement "Shahar" Alexander Kargin, due to suspicion of extremist activities who was searched in the Moscow Choral Synagogue in the summer.
On December 7, 2018, it became known that law enforcement the authorities did not find grounds for initiating a criminal case against head of the Shahar movement and a representative of the Israeli Likud party Alexander Kargin.
“From the text of the decision to refuse initiation of a criminal case, it follows that there are no signs in the actions of my defendant for organizing extremist activities at the Center for extremism has not been identified ,” Kargin’s lawyer told reporters Igor Zuber.
Recall that in August Center "E" conducted a search in the Moscow the Choral Synagogue, where the Shahar office is located, and seized some anti-Semitic and nationalist literature. The publications were checked Kargin on social media.
