St. Petersburg: a native of Belarus is suspected of inciting hatred

A criminal case has been initiated in St. Petersburg against 46-year-old Andrey T., a former RNE supporter.

In December 2018, it became known that in St. Petersburg, a criminal case was initiated against 46-year-old native of Belarus Andrei T. under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting national hatred). According to media reports, in the past the man was a supporter of RNE (Russian National Unity).

According to the investigation, in the fall of 2016, Andrei left several anti-Semitic comments on his VKontakte page and in the Black Hundred community, in which he accused the Jews of Freemasonry and collaboration with "secret world organizations. " This was confirmed by linguistic expertise.

The accused is currently in custody. His house was searched, during which equipment, nationalist paraphernalia and clothes with RNE symbols were confiscated.   Sources
