Kurtamysh: the case was dismissed under Art. 282

In January 2019, it became known that in the city of Kurtamysh, Kurganskaya region, the criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code against a local resident, accused of publishing xenophobic materials on the social network.

In January 2019, the Kurtamysh District Court Kurgan region terminated the criminal case under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (excitation national hatred).

In the dock was a local resident, whom accused of publishing certain videos on the VKontakte social network in 2015 and 2016 and photographs promoting the ideology of National Socialism.

The case was dismissed due to partial decriminalization Art. 282 of the Criminal Code.
