Data on attendance at Epiphany services in 2019

More than 2.4 million people took part in baptismal services and bathing, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

19 January 2019, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced official data on the number of those present at the baptismal services and about Orthodox believers bathing in ice-holes.

IN 2019 in church services and ceremonies on the shore of a reservoir, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, more than 2.4 million people took part. Their safety was ensured by more than 41 thousand police officers.

The total number of worship services and rituals included in the statistics - 9500.
