In Veliky Novgorod, only women under 30 years of age will receive payment for the first child

Deputies of the Novgorod Regional Duma decided to limit the age of payment for the birth of the first child, reports Novgorod.ru.

A manual of 100 thousand rubles, which can be spent on improving housing conditions or getting money, when the child is one and a half years old, only women no more than 29 years old will be able to receive.

Olga Borisova, deputy chairman of the regional Duma, explained restrictions on the capabilities of the regional budget. And the speaker of the parliament, Elena Pisareva, recalled that the age of 24 to 29 years introduced by Vladimir Putin, the national project “Demography”.

“We must clearly understand that after 30 years the woman understands that she is no longer needed, but she needs a baby whom she will love,” Pisareva said.

Since 2019, 200 thousand rubles have stopped paying in the Novgorod region. At the birth of a third child in connection with the termination of the maternity capital program "Family".
