Ivan Kovalev brought to justice under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
January 23, 2019 Achinsk District Court Krasnoyarsk Territory fined a local anarcho-communist Ivan a thousand rubles Kovalev under Art. 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (propaganda or demonstration of Nazi symbols).
The reason was the publication on the wall of one of communities in "VKontakte" of a popular image in social networks with a Nazi an eagle with a swastika in its paws and the emblem of the Russian Post, between which they see some similarity.
We believe that Kovalev has been held accountable illegal, since the demonstration of Nazi symbols in this case was not aimed at propagating the corresponding ideology. Unfortunately, the current Russian legislation allows punish any display of Nazi symbols without regard to context.
