The buildings of the Shamordino Monastery in the Kaluga region were transferred to the ownership of the Russian Orthodox Church

The Russian Orthodox Church was given ownership of the buildings of the Shamorda Monastery in the Kaluga Region. March 1, 2019 it became known that the Russian the Orthodox Church were transferred to the ownership of the buildings of the Shamorda monastery in Kaluga region. The monastery complex includes 22 buildings.

Recall that the monastery was closed in 1923, renewed in 1990, the last building was vacated for monastic needs in 1996 year.
