India managed to knock down the satellite rocket

India became the fourth country in the world, which was able to create and successfully experience anti -satellite weapons. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi reported a successful test of the missile.

He did not reveal the exact date of testing and other details, but wrote that the satellite who was in orbit was amazed.

The New York Times notes that the success of the testing of the rocket requires confirmation. According to RIA Novosti, the anti-satellite missile could hit the Microsat-R remote probe, launched by India in January 2019.

Until now, successful tests of anti -recipient weapons have been carried out in the USSR, USA and China.
