
The former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land and Property Relations of Bashkiria Yevgeny Guryev was detained on charges of exceeding official powers in the sale of land. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the IC of the Russian Federation for Bashkiria.
According to the investigation, in November 2015, Guryev exceeded his powers and bypassing the law on competitive procedures organized the sale of the Su-10 Group of Companies of two land in Ufa with a total area of more than 17 thousand m². At the same time, their cost was underestimated half of the cadastral value. At that time, the department did not have the right to dispose of these sites.
“As a result of criminal actions, the rights and legitimate interests of society and the state were substantially violated, grave consequences in the form of a non-rejection of the income from the sale of state property in a total of about 27 million rubles were caused by the Republic of Bashkortostan,” the press service said.
Since 2016, Evgeny Guryev has been oversaw the economic block of the Bashkiria government. He resigned in October 2018.
