More than 2 thousand vocal messages of VKontakte users were in the public domain. This was discovered by visitors to the Dvach forum.
The forum participants found out that when entering the “Audiocomment.3GP” search line in the “Documents” section, you can find the audio messages of some users, and the reference to the file contains ID pages.
According to Medusa, the press service of the social network stated that we are not talking about VKontakte's vulnerability-all voice messages are reliably protected. “According to our data, part of the audio messages that users loaded through third-party unofficial applications got into the“ Documents ”section,” the press service said.
VKontakte reported that for further proceedings the search for such documents was temporarily disconnected.
