A participant in a protest against a church in Yekaterinburg received threats

In Yekaterinburg, journalist Rinat Nizamov, who participated in protests against the construction of the temple began to receive threats.

April 9, 2019 Yekaterinburg journalist, director several city portals, Rinat Nizamov turned to the police with a statement about threats that came to him after his speech at a rally against construction of a temple in the park near the Drama Theater on April 7.

Threats began to come after the publications of local blogger Sergei Kolyasnikov. Commentators on his blog suggested "beating the chimney in the stairwell" organizers of such actions, "burn in the bud" and made other threats.

According to the applicant, these threats fall within the scope of Art. 119 Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (threat to kill or cause grievous bodily harm).

Recall that many residents of Yekaterinburg oppose construction of an Orthodox church in the park near the Drama Theatre.
