Activists of "Stop GOK" were reported for distributing the poem "Last wish to Ivan"

Environmental activists are being prosecuted for publishing a satirical poem about oligarchs.

On April 11, 2019, an activist of the Chelyabinsk environmental movement "Stop GOK" Pavel Kamchatny reported that protocols were drawn up against him and three other people under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials) for the publication of the banned poem "The Last Wishes to Ivans".

According to Kamchatny, the poem was published in the comments under one of the posts in the Stop GOK group on the VKontakte social network. After that, he made a flyer with a poem and posted it to the group.

As follows from the report of the CPE staff posted by Stop GOK activists, the poem was published, in addition to acting on the social network under the pseudonym Kamchatny, Alexei Gnevyshev and Vladimir Gavrilov. It is noted that two community administrators liked these posts. In addition, the CPE staff indicate that Gavrilov and Kamchatny also published the "Dulles Plan", however, according to this publication, materials for drawing up a protocol under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, for some reason, they were not sent to the prosecutor's office.

"The Last Wishes to 'Ivans'" was declared extremist in 2012 by the Sterlitamak city court; earlier, in 2009-10, was prosecuted activist Natalya Ignatieva for reading it at a rally in Khabarovsk. We consider the prohibition of the poem unlawful. This is a satirical work written on behalf of the oligarchs and government officials who enriched themselves from the extraction and sale of natural resources, in the form of an appeal to the common people ("Ivans", "Papuans"), mired in drug addiction and alcoholism. It contains neither calls for violence, nor racial, ethnic or religious pejoratives. The decision to ban the Dulles Plan, adopted in 2015, we also consider unlawful .
