
The Moscow Basmanny Court, at the request of the investigation, changed the preventive measure from detention for house arrest to the senior partner and founder of the Baring Vostok investment fund Michael Kalvi, accused of fraud, Interfax reports . Earlier, Kommersant said that the request of the Investigative Committee on the transfer of Kalvi under house arrest was signed on April 1.
Kalvi, arrested on charges of fraud by 2.5 billion rubles, has been in jail since mid -February.
