"People's control" checked food in schools

Social activists from the Party of Power conducted a survey of residents of the city on children's nutrition.

According to the information received, the inhabitants of Vladimir are mainly satisfied with food in kindergartens and are dissatisfied with food in schools.

Regarding the nutrition in the schools of the complaints, certain dishes, as well as the uniformity of the menu, caused. Also, food temperature caused the complaints. Many dishes serve cooled.

“Of course, food in school canteens cannot take into account the food preferences of all students, but enterprises organizing baby food are required to comply with the sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the organization of students' diets established by law. Currently, the Popular Control project is being worked out by the algorithm for conducting public monitoring of the quality and safety of children's food, the first stage of which was the questionnaire. The work on this will be sent to be continued, ” said the project coordinator Dmitry Semenov.

Enterprises that organize the food of schoolchildren are in an artificial monopoly. The school has only 1 dining room served by one enterprise. Dutations for food or the so -called “free meals”, which is paid from the city budget, that is, from the funds of all taxpayers, regardless of demand, does not help increase the quality of the production products and the development of competition. The irregular control of the social activists of the “party of power” and the supervisory authorities are just a small step in the struggle for delicious and high -quality nutrition of schoolchildren.
