Assault due to "immoral facial expressions"

On April 22, 2019, E. attacked an acquaintance in the Voronezh region. The reason for the attack was "the immoral actions of the victim..., expressed in the demonstration by the latter of facial expressions and movements, giving reason to believe that his actions towards the defendant are related to non-traditional sexual orientation, and possible proximity."

On October 21, 2019, the Borisoglebsk City Court of the Voronezh Region delivered a sentence under paragraphs. "h" part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (deliberate infliction of grievous bodily harm) and sentenced E. to imprisonment for one year to be served in a general regime correctional colony.
