Kursk: brutal murder of a transgender woman

On April 11, 24-year-old Nika Surgutskaya was brutally murdered in Kursk.

On April 11, 24-year-old Nika Surgutskaya was killed in Kursk. The suspect is a young man with whom she spent the evening in her apartment.

According to media reports, the man committed a brutal murder after he found out that Surgutskaya was a transgender woman.

On April 20, it became known that the investigative committee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code (murder). The suspect was arrested.   Sources
