The court found the 23-year-old prisoner guilty of publicly calling for extremism.
On August 27, 2019, it became known that in the Vladimir Region, the Kovrov City Court found a 23-year-old prisoner of a local colony guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism on the Internet). As a result of adding this sentence to the previous ones, the man was sentenced to five and a half years in prison.
The criminal case became known on April 29, 2019. According to the investigation, in 2015, on his page on the social network, the young man published an audio recording calling for violence against "representatives of all ethnographic communities and nationalities, except Slavs and Russians."
In 2017, he was convicted under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of minor bodily harm) and ch. 1 and 2 Art. 228 of the Criminal Code (large-scale drug trafficking). Sources
