Kostroma: fine for "Miracles of the Koran"

The court punished P. Bozorov, who posted on the social network a record recognized as extremist - from our point of view, unlawfully.

On April 23, 2019, the Sverdlovsky District Court of Kostroma fined Parviz Bozorov 1,200 rubles under Art. 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (mass distribution of extremist materials).

Bozorov in 2016 posted on the social network a video of the "Miracles of the Koran", which was recognized as extremist material. He explained to the court that in doing so, he did not pursue the goal of inciting feelings of hatred or enmity towards any groups of persons.

From our point of view, the film "Miracles of the Koran" (item 873 of the Federal List of Extremist Materials) was illegally recognized as extremist (our position is described in more detail here ). Accordingly, the persecution of Bozorov is also unlawful.
