Deripaska reconciled with Zyuganov in court

Representatives of the entrepreneur Oleg Deripaska and the leader of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov entered into a settlement agreement on a claim for a million rubles, RIA Novosti reports. The reason for the claim for insulted honor and dignity was the statement of Zyuganov, who called the business billionaire the “largest scam”.

On January 9, Zyuganov said in the Federation Council: “The largest scam is the aluminum business of Deripaska: first, plants were stolen from citizens, and now these plants are subordinated to the Anglo -Saxons. This is in general - a crazy house, we must investigate this crime, because it is a crime against the strategic policy and security of our country. ”

Deripaska demanded a million rubles of compensation for non -pecuniary damage. Zyuganov’s advocates do not dispute that these words were said, and also note that the politician has the right to initiate parliamentary verification and investigation in order to “attract attention to a socially significant problem”.
