
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andrei Parubiy announced the termination of the activities of the Parliamentary coalition "European Ukraine".

In view of the statements of the head of the deputy faction of the Popular Front political party, about the withdrawal of the faction from the coalition and in connection with this the termination of the coalition, notifying that today the coalition of the deputy factions “European Ukraine” in the VIII convocation has ceased its activities ... and let's recognize: it was a good coalition. Congratulations, colleagues, all with collaboration, ”Parubiy announced from the rostrum of parliament at the morning plenary meeting of Rada.
After announcing the absence of a coalition, according to the legislation, the factions may agree to the creation of a new one within 30 days. If it is not created, the president has the right to announce the dissolution of the parliament and appoint early elections.
The fraction of the Popular Front party at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine voted for leaving the parliamentary coalition. Earlier in the morning, the party held a meeting of the faction with the participation of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, at which the deputies unanimously supported this initiative, the Ukrainian media said.
He emphasized that in five years the current parliament, two governments and, in general, had more changes than in the previous 20 years.
Recall that the coalition of the deputy factions "European Ukraine" was created on November 27, 2014. It included the factions “Bloc of Petro Poroshenko”, “People’s Front”, “The Association of Samopomich”, the Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko, “Fatherland” with the total composition of 302 deputies.
