
The situation in the fuel market can repeat the events of last spring, when a jump in prices occurred. This is stated in a letter from the president of the independent fuel union Pavel Bazhenov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozaku.
For a month, wholesale prices at the St. Petersburg International Mer and Ryriversary Exchange on gasoline AI-92 brand increased by 23%, and for AI-95 gasoline-by 18.5%, the price of summer diesel fuel increased by 2.5%.
To prevent the crisis, the NTS proposes to abandon the damping mechanism in favor of reducing excise tax on automobile gasoline and diesel fuel of the 5th ecological class at least 50%, increase the volume of sales on the exchange in the high season.
In addition, the NTS proposes to carry out the liberalization of retail prices, having tied their maximum values to exchange indices, as well as increase the mandatory standards for the supply of petroleum products produced in the Russian Federation, to the St. Petersburg International Meriting Exchange.
