Kizilyurt: verdict under Art. 280

In Kizilyurt, a local resident was found guilty of publicly calling for extremism.

On May 30, 2019, it became known that in Dagestan, the Kizilyurt city court found a local resident guilty under Part 2 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism on the Internet) and sentenced him to two years of probation.

According to the case file, in 2013 the man posted a video on his page on the social network calling for "carrying out extremist activities."
