The Frunzensky District Court of Vladivostok was recognized by Sochi Dolphinarium LLC, which was engaged in catching braids, guilty of violating fishing rules and fined 37.6 million rubles. It is reported by TASS.

Earlier, the court in the case of Kitov Prison fined two more detachals - the company Oceanarium DV for 56.4 million rubles and Bellya Kit LLC for 28 million rubles.

In total, four companies are held in the case, the case of the last Afalin company will be considered in June.

In 2018, about a hundred killer whales and belugas were caught in the Sea of ​​Okhotsk for sale to the Chinese oceanariums and placed them in the volunte of the average in the area of ​​the city of Nakhodka in Primorye, which was later called the “whale prison”. After the intervention of the public, Prosecutor General and UK, it turned out that animals were caught with numerous violations of the law. Criminal and administrative cases have been instituted.

The Kitov prison in the average bay still contains 11 killer whales and 90 belugas. Three Belukhi and one mitant disappeared, a criminal case was opened on the fact of the illegal catch of biological resources. The consultation, where the fate of animals was decided, was held on May 14 at the Institute of Problems of Ecology and Evolution named after Seversov RAS. According to its results, it was decided to transport and release the braids in the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, their natural habitat. However, later for unknown reasons, it was changed.

The average in the Far East in the Bay is planned to be released in late May or early June, said Vyacheslav Rozhnov, director of the Institute of Ecology and Evolution named after Severtsov Russian Academy of Sciences. It is assumed that animals will be released directly in the average bay.
