
The installation of the monument to the writer Daniil Granin on the Far Eastern Avenue can be transferred from September, as previously planned, to a later date. This was announced by the head of the Committee on Culture Konstantin Sukhenko.
According to Sukhenko, with the installation of the monument "there are problems that need to be solved." According to him, they are connected with the fact that it is necessary to "put in order the territory, it is necessary to pay for a number of works, except for the installation of the monument itself." At the same time, Sukhenko noted that the monument will be installed for sure.
Earlier it was reported that the monument should be erected on September 5 according to the sketch with the depicted by Granin, sitting in a chair with a book in his hands. The author of the project is the sculptor Evgeny Burkov.
