Komi Republic: the court banned the USSR

In Komi, the court recognized the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' as an extremist organization.

In July 2019, it became known that the Supreme Court of the Komi Republic began considering a lawsuit to recognize the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' (USSR) as an extremist organization.

The case was heard without a defendant.

On July 15, 2019, the claim was satisfied, and on August 15, this decision entered into force.

The leader of the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' is Sergey Taraskin, a dentist. The Union has a variety of resources on social networks, where they mainly publish long videos dedicated to the complex ideology of the movement, based on the belief that the Soviet Union never collapsed, therefore the current government in Russia should be recognized as illegitimate. According to Taraskin's followers, in 1991 there was a "raider seizure" of power, and the current leadership of the Russian Federation and the states formed on the site of the former Soviet republics are "organized criminal communities" that must be fought in order to restore all the structures and organs of the USSR. How exactly to fight in those videos that we managed to get acquainted with did not say, although Taraskin regularly promises in them that all representatives of the Russian authorities and "their accomplices", after the restoration of the Soviet Union, will be judged by a military tribunal under the article on treason.

When exactly the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' was founded is not very clear. According to Taraskin, the movement first made a "public statement in the courts of the Russian Federation" that the Russian Federation is an "organized criminal community" in 2008. Apparently, this year should be considered the year of foundation. The Union became more visible after January 2010, when Taraskin announced " the revival of all previously existing subjects of law (states) in this Country, by taking on himself of all positions not occupied by other persons in all branches and authorities and management, including: in the RSFSR, in the USSR, in the Russian Empire, the Russian kingdom, and so on further into the depths of the centuries ." After that, Taraskin began to call himself in the public space the interim President of the USSR, and sometimes also the Emperor of the Russian Empire and other titles.

It is noteworthy that the restoration of the Soviet Union and its predecessors, as far as it was understood, is an intermediate task of the organization. The union claims to establish something like world domination, its right to which it substantiates with a mythical letter from 324 BC, allegedly bestowed on the Slavs by Alexander the Great, which confirms "the right of the noble breed of the Slavs to rule the entire Northern Hemisphere of the Earth from the Northern poles to the Northern Tropic, and also to rule the whole Earth, since no other People on Earth has such letters .

In general, the Union has a very complex, if not phantasmagoric ideology, containing both references to the Bible (in a very specific reading of it), and arguments about space, the universe, etc. Suffice it to say that the Soviet Union is supposed to be the only "legitimate" state entity not only on its former territory, but on the territory of the entire Earth, and its restoration is considered necessary not because of the Taraskin followers' enthusiasm for communism, as one might assume, but because, that the USSR, from their point of view, has become the last version of the Slavic state ("Rus"), created on Earth " according to the laws of God the Creator " and is the only " source of law on planet Earth ." As Taraskin states, " the word Rus, if you carefully look at Dahl's dictionary (...), one of the meanings is "peace", "white light". And what is "white light" - the multiverse, which surrounds us and which radiates various energy flows. (…) Laws in the multiverse, they are at the very top of the hierarchy. (…) Thus, the one who is at war with Russia is at war with the multiverse ". The followers of Taraskin call the Earth a "planet" and believe that " our Earth, like our closest satellite, the Moon and our Solar system is an artificial formation, which is created with the help of smart technologies .

The ultimate goal of the Union is nothing more, nothing less than the " restoration of the natural, natural law on planet Earth (this is about the re-creation of the USSR - approx. Center "Owl") , in order for the planet Earth and the inhabitant the surface of the Earth humanity could enter into a coalition of intelligent civilizations single cosmos" .

The Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' uses anti-Semitic rhetoric and promotes the idea of ​​a global Jewish conspiracy that leads humanity to death through various methods, including the production of genetically modified products and radiation from communications equipment.

As follows from the court decision, the USSR had not only a president in the person of Taraskin, but also the government, ministries, regional authorities, a personnel agency, etc. The court decision stated that the Union had branches in at least 30 subjects of the Russian Federation, they consisted of about 450 people. At the same time, the number of fans of the organization is clearly greater. For example, her Facebook group "Reception of the President of the USSR" has about 10 thousand people, and Taraskin's videos on Youtube gained several thousand views.

Several activists of the USSR were involved in criminal and administrative responsibility. Unfortunately, in most of these cases we have almost no data, except for those reported in the court decision on recognition of the Union as extremist.

• January 29, 2018 according to art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred) an activist of the Union was convicted, whose name we, unfortunately, do not know.

• August 16, 2018 according to art. 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls for extremism) and Art. 282 of the Criminal Code was convicted Alexander Tyurnin, who had the position of "Chairman of the KGB of the Komi ASSR" in the Union. He was found guilty of publishing in Internet calls for an armed seizure of government buildings, and also - calls for violence against Jews and law enforcement officers organs;

• On November 12, 2018, an activist of the Union, whose name is also unknown to us, was convicted under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code and art. 282 of the Criminal Code;

• On November 22, 2018, another activist of the movement was convicted under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code.

• December 7, 2018 according to art. 280 of the Criminal Code and art. was convicted 282 of the Criminal Code , 31-year-old R. Khamidullov , who was found guilty of publishing anti-Semitic articles on the Internet. texts;

• On March 7 and 18, 2019, two activists of the Union were recognized guilty under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (incitement of hatred);

• one of the activists of the Union was convicted under Art. 20.29 Administrative Code (distribution of prohibited materials). Details including date Unfortunately, we are not aware of this decision.

In addition, it is reported that from January 15, 2018 case is being investigated under Art. 280 of the Criminal Code against Andrey Zlokazov, who held Union post "acting head of the Sverdlovsk region of the RSFSR as part of the "USSR"". According to law enforcement agencies, in 2016 he distributed two documents of the movement, in which, according to the conclusion of the examination, contains a threat of the use of force against representatives of state power and " a call-order addressed to officers and Cossacks to create armed detachments to forcibly change the constitutional order of the Russian Federation and changes in its territorial integrity ." Taraskin took part in this case as a witness and during interrogation explained that in 2018 he expelled Zlokazov from the Union for the fact that he ceased to obey him. He also explained that Zlokazov sent documents to military units on his own behalf without his consent. According to our data, in April 2019 Zlokazov was sent by the court for compulsory treatment , however, the decision of the Supreme Court of Komi states that his case is still under investigation.

The Komi Supreme Court justified its decision to recognize the Union as extremist by the fact that, as follows from the information about these criminal cases, " the goals of the Association's activities, in essence, are aimed at forcibly changing the foundations of the constitutional order and violating the integrity of the Russian Federation; excitation (...) discord; violation of the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of a person and a citizen, depending on his social, national or religious affiliation or attitude to religion; obstruction of the lawful activities of state bodies, local governments and other organizations, combined with the threat of violence; public calls for the implementation of these acts and mass distribution of obviously extremist materials, as well as their production and storage for the purpose of mass distribution .

Note that the Union of Slavic Forces of Rus' in the media is often confused with other supporters of the USSR, for example, with the followers of the Novosibirsk movement "Home in the USSR" by Nadezhda Tokareva or the "Community of Citizens of the USSR" by Valentina Reunova.
