In Samara, the court will consider the case of Lyubov Kuzaeva, Ilya Martyshkin, Viktor Permyakov, Sergei Toropov and Sergei Tsunin. They are charged under seven articles of the criminal code. The case will be heard by a jury. On July 12, 2019, it became known that in Samara the case of members of the local cell of the “Community of the Indigenous Russian People” (OKRN) was submitted to the court: Lyubov Kuzaeva, Ilya Martyshkin, Viktor Permyakov, Sergey Toropov and Sergey Tsunin.
Depending on the actions committed, they are accused of:
• hh. 1 and 2 Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization of an extremist community and participation in it);
• paragraphs. "a", "b", "g", "z" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code with the application of Art. 30 of the Criminal Code (preparation for the murder of two or more people for hire, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, in connection with the performance of these people's public duty);
• Part 2 Art. 280 of the Criminal Code (calls for extremism on the Internet);
• Part 1 of Art. 280.1 of the Criminal Code (calls for separatism);
• p. "c" Part 2 Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (incitement of hatred by an organized group);
• art. 282.3 of the Criminal Code (financing of extremist activities);
• art. 354.1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism).
On August 27, 2019, it became known that the case would be tried by a jury.
According to investigators, the 58-year-old Lyubov Kuzaeva created the Togliatti cell of the OKRN in 2012, and over the next six years it involved “at least 186 residents of the Samara region” , including Permyakov, Martyshkin, Toropov and Tsunin. Earlier it was reported that she and 51-year-old Ilya Martyshkin were charged under five of the seven indicated articles. We wrote more about this here .
The investigation describes the structure of the Samara cell as clear, “consisting of territorial subdivisions of the city and district levels” . Upon taking office, the head of the unit had to take an oath. Members of the community were given "national passports of citizens of the "Russian Republic of Rus"" and "Books of the Community", which were marked with financial donations.
with preparing to murder has been charged 64-year-old Viktor Permyakov . According to investigators, he tried to organize contract killings of 4 people who testified against him at the trial in the case of xenophobic propaganda.
In May 2018, it became known that 61-year-old Sergey Tsunin was in the case of the Samara OKRN in the status of a witness. What exactly he, as well as Sergei Toropov, is accused of today, we, unfortunately, do not know.
Recall that some of the branches of the OKRN were previously recognized as extremist and added to the Federal List of Extremist Organizations . Under paragraph 36, the “Community of the Indigenous Russian people of the Shchelkovsky district of the Moscow region” was included in the list, recognized as extremist by the Shchelkovo city court of the Moscow region on February 25, 2014, and under paragraph 55 - “The community of the Indigenous Russian people of Astrakhan of the Astrakhan region”, recognized as extremist by the Soviet District Court of Astrakhan on July 21, 2016.
"Communities of the Indigenous Russian People" are regional branches of a small far-right organization "Russian Republic of Rus". "Respublika" arose in 2003, and gained fame in June 2005 - after the publication of a "death sentence" for expert Nikolai Girenko, who was killed in the same month (however, the FSB did not consider this "sentence" to be evidence of the involvement of the head of the "Republic" or his organization in the murder of a scientist). For the right to coordinate the work of the "Communities", the "Russian Republic of Rus" is in conflict with another ultra-right structure - the "Russian Republic", which broke away from the first due to a conflict between the leaders - Vladimir Popov and Viktor Krivov.
