Oil production in Iran has reached a minimum in 30 years

Oil production in Iran in June decreased to 2.28 million barrels per day. This has become the lowest indicator over the past 30 years, follows from the report of the International Energy Agency (IEA).

Compared to Mai, production fell by 120 thousand barrels per day. Oil supply by sea transport decreased even more - by 450 thousand b/s.

Before the United States resumed sanctions against Iran, Tehran on average exported 2.6 million barrels per day.

In May 2019, exceptions to anti -Iranian sanctions that the United States made for some countries ceased to operate. After that, according to the IEA, the purchases of Turkey fell from 70 to 30 thousand b/s, and China from 100 to 40 thousand b/s.
