The Federal Tax Service froze operations on banking accounts of companies related to the business school and private university Synergy, as well as its rector Vadim Lobov. Itis reported by The Bell with reference to the Federal Tax Service and the data of the SPARK-Interfax database.
According to the publication, the account was blocked due to debts to the budget. The base has writ of execution for 27.3 million rubles. Lobov himself claims that the amount of debt is half as much.
43 accounts were found under the lock, mainly in Sberbank. Companies associated with Synergy and Lobov can accept transfers to accounts, but they are forbidden to carry out transactions themselves until debts are paid.
Lobov said that “insignificant” issues arose for some companies. “Part of the locks is technical, somewhere there is a reconciliation of the tax, there are court disputes somewhere,” he said.
The Bell writes that in June, Lobov and his business partner Grigory Avetov sold their shares at the School of Business Synergy LLC-mainly a legal entity of a business school. 90% crossed the Gvatemala citizen Mariano Herrera, another 10% - the LLC himself. To the question of journalists about the sale of the company, Lobov did not answer, only noting that "the business school is still in the structure of" synergy "."
The Insider wrote about how Synergy, capturing private universities, became the largest university in Russia, and the leadership of disbanded universities directly accused Synergy of raiding.
