He added that the day after the murder of Grigoryeva received the threats from Timur Bulatov, a provocateur from St. Petersburg, who “calculates” LGBT teenage and reports their sexual orientation to the police and schools. The messages spoke of the murder of Grigorieva and that "this is a lesson for all LGBT creatures." They ended with the phrase: “Who is the next? We accept bets. "

Elena Grigoryeva was killed on the night of July 21. Her body was found in the bushes near the house on Pulkovskaya Street. She had her back, her face, there were traces of strangulation on her neck. According to Fontanka, eight stabs were found on the body.
