The arrested journalist of the Opposition Ingush edition of Fortanga Rashid Maisigov was a final charge of storing drugs on an especially large scale. As Interfax reports, lawyer Magomed Aushev said this.
The case is conducted by investigators of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Expertise was scheduled in the case, one is already ready, it was carried out very quickly, Aushev noted. He clarified that its results were ready, even before the court chose his client's measure of restraint.
Masigov was detained on July 12. He complained about torture in the police department.
According to the mother of the journalist, “people in masks” broke home to them, lifted Micigov from the bed and put handcuffs on him. “We went up to the second floor, began to look for something, and suddenly one of the security forces in his hand appeared a bag with a white substance in her hand,” she said.
One of the FSB officers, according to her, found paper on the table of Maisigov, "which were not there before." Later it turned out that these are leaflets with an extremist content about the accession of Ingushetia to Georgia.
The detainee is in the IvS Nazran. According to the lawyer, Masigov complained that he was beaten and used against him in the police department.
He added that a journalist can also be accused under an article about the Stateizer.
