The court found Nikita Rasputin and Vladislav Prokopishin guilty of setting fire to the reception room of United Russia and participating in an extremist community.
On July 29, 2019, in Perm, the Leninsky District Court passed a sentence on two members of the " Perm Nazi Team " (PNZS). Nikita Rasputin was sentenced to 2 years in a penal colony, and Vladislav Prokopishin - to 1.5 years of probation. Both young men were found guilty under Art. 167 of the Criminal Code (intentional damage to property) and Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (organization of an extremist community).
Charge under Art. 167 of the Criminal Code is due to the fact that, according to the case file, on November 19, 2017, they participated in the arson of the building where the public reception of United Russia was located (the fire was quickly extinguished, no one was hurt). Also, young people left xenophobic and anti-government graffiti on the walls of the city and, according to the investigation, were united in an extremist organization.
The young men themselves acknowledge the facts of graffiti and arson, but deny the existence of an extremist community. They call their motives hooligan, and refuse to testify, insisting that they were given under duress.
The case of Rasputin and Prokopishin was brought into separate proceedings, since at the time of the crimes they were minors. The case of the other four alleged PNZS members - Alexander Ankudinov, Anton Zyryanov, Nikita Yushkov and Dmitry Strelkov - is still pending in court. Sources
