
Special forces detained the former president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev. This was reported by Interfax with reference to his correspondent who saw what happened.
Atambayev was detained as a result of an operation in the village of Koy-Tash, where his house of Atambayev is located. About two thousand employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in it, including the Sobr detachment. The operation was personally led by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kashkar Dzhunushaliev.
Recall, on the eve of the village of Koy-Tash, which is located 20 km from Bishkek, the alpha special forces the State Committee of the National Security of Kyrgyzstan made an attempt to force the former president of Almazbek Atambayev. Criminal cases have been instituted under articles on hooliganism, murder, attempted murder and seizure of hostages.
