A plane with Ukrainian political prisoners landed in Boryspil

The plane with Ukrainian political prisoners persecuted in Russia landed in Boryspil. Hromadske is broadcasting the exchange live.

Ukrayinska Pravda published a list of people whom Moscow handed over to Kiev. Among them:

• one of the leaders of the Right Sector, Nikolai Karpyuk, sentenced to 22 years in a strict regime colony on charges of killing Russian servicemen in Chechnya in 1994-1995;
• film director Oleg Sentsov, sentenced to 20 years in a strict regime colony on charges of organizing terrorist attacks in Crimea;
• activist Oleksandr Kolchenko, sentenced to 10 years in a strict regime colony on charges of organizing terrorist attacks in Crimea;
• Pavel Grib, who received six years in a penal colony on charges of facilitating terrorist activities;
• pro-Ukrainian activist Volodymyr Balukh, sentenced to five years in a penal colony on charges of storing ammunition and explosives and disrupting the work of a temporary detention facility;
• Ukrainian journalist Roman Sushchenko, sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony on charges of espionage;
• Ukrainian journalist Stanislav Klykh, sentenced to 20 years in prison on charges of participating in hostilities during the First Chechen War on the side of the separatists;
• Artur Panov, sentenced to eight years in a penal colony on charges of plotting a terrorist act in Rostov-on-Don;
• Yevgeny Panov, sentenced to eight years in a strict regime colony on charges of plotting sabotage on the territory of Crimea;
• Crimean Tatar activist Edem Bekirov, accused of trafficking in weapons and explosives;
• Aleksey Sizonovich, sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony on charges of preparing a terrorist attack;
• as well as 24 Ukrainian sailors accused of illegally crossing the border with the Russian Federation.

On August 6, an Interfax source reported on the details of the exchange lists according to the formula "35 to 35".

On August 29, Interfax reported that Sentsov was taken to Moscow from a colony in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, where he had been since October 2017.

Ukrainian sailors have been in Lefortovo since the end of November 2018.
