NHL disqualified Kuznetsova for three matches for the use of cocaine

The National Hockey League announced a three -match disqualification of the Russian striker of Washington Evgeny Kuznetsov for the use of cocaine. The corresponding application was published by the League press service. TASS writes about this.
Recall that on August 23, the International Hockey Federation disqualified Kuznetsov for four years for violation of anti -doping rules. The test of a 27-year-old hockey player gave a positive result for cocaine. The forbidden substance was found in a sample taken on May 26, 2019 at the World Cup in Slovakia. This removal does not apply to the NHL.
Kuznetsov is the owner of the Stanley Cup in Washington.
The NHL regular championship starts on the night of October 3. Washington will open the season with a match against the owner of the Saint Luis Stanley Cup. Kuznetsov will also miss matches against New York Ilanders and Carolina.
