
Actor Pavel Ustinov, convicted of three and a half years on charges of violence against a representative of the authorities and freed from the pre -trial detention center before considering an appeal for a sentence, joined the series of single pickets “Freedom” at the Presidential Administration on Old Square in Moscow, Interfax reports .
On September 24, Ustinov recorded a video message in which he spoke out in support of other defendants in Moscow Affairs.
“I want to express support to the relatives of these guys. I hope that everyone will be, like me, at home, with their loved ones. The parents of these guys - hold on, I will not stay away aside. I will support them in all possible ways, ”said Ustinov.
On September 20, the Moscow City Court granted the request of the prosecutor’s office to release Pavel Ustinov from the pre -trial detention center on a recognizance not to leave before consideration of an appeal for a sentence.
Ustinov was sentenced to 3.5 years in colony. The riot police officer complained about the dislocation of the shoulder after his detention on the rally on August 3. Earlier, the prosecutor’s office requested six years of the colony for the actor, but after public indignation asked to abandon the real term of imprisonment.
A series of pickets near the Presidential Administration began on September 18 and continues every day. Participants in the action, replacing each other, stand with a poster with the inscription “Freedom to all” and the surnames of convicted and arrested after summer rallies in Moscow.
