Secretary of the National Security Council of Ukraine resigned


Secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense of Ukraine, Alexander Danilyuk, filed a resignation. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Alexander Danilyuk wrote the corresponding statement to the President of Ukraine before the work visit of Vladimir Zelensky to the United States to participate in the 74th session of the UN General Assembly,” the president’s press service said.

The press service added that Zelensky will consider the application to return to Kyiv.

Alexander Danilyuk took office as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in May 2019. From 2016 to 2018, he headed the Ministry of Finance of the country.
